Out Door Furniture!

Remember To Compost!

It's cooooooold out tonight! It's only about 5:31pm and there is already a chill in the house. Sometimes a post in the wintertime can seem like a chore. But on the way back from the grocery store, I saw my post sitting out in some one's yard. Yes I had to drive these slick roads, just to get some hamburger meat. It's spaghetti night at my house.
What I saw was someones yard furniture still sitting in the back yard. I guess they don't read my blog as they would know when to get it in for the winter. That's the one reason we all have garages, sheds and covered patios, and the like. To have a place to store our "stuff" out of the weather and make it last a little longer.

These are really fantastic chairs!
Any way the gist of seeing that furniture sitting their made me think of painting and preservation.  This a great time to fix and paint that yard furniture and get it ready for another years worth of use. No matter if they are wood, wicker, or metal, give them the once or twice over.
Perhaps you are shopping for some new yard furniture. Now may be a time to buy some of the beautiful unfinished wood products you see as you certainly have time to finish it before spring is here, and save some money.

Adirondack chairs are a classic design and very comfortable!

Fruit or Vegetable of the day:
Green Peppers - A great source of vitimin "C" and they contain all the amino acids in small amounts. What most people don't know is they contain the healthy omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. Eat all three colors, Red, Green, and Yellow as they have different dietary values. Eat them raw, and cooked. I just know you guys are gonna have western omletes for breakfast.
